LinkedIn outreach tool

Heyreach

Editorial updated May 29, 2026·by Jordan Sauchuk

TL;DR

  • Best forAgencies running LinkedIn outreach for multiple clients simultaneously. The native multi-account architecture is the differentiator; the 'safe activity throttling' approach is the moat.
  • Weak atPricing assumes you're running multiple LinkedIn accounts. Solo operators running one account pay for capacity they won't use — Expandi or Dripify fit better at that scale.

The take

Heyreach is the LinkedIn outreach tool we recommend most often for agencies, and the recommendation is structural rather than feature-by-feature. The category has roughly three architectural approaches: browser extensions that run on your machine (Dripify, Meet Alfred), cloud-based tools that operate your LinkedIn account from their infrastructure (Expandi, Heyreach, La Growth Machine), and full-spectrum multichannel platforms that include LinkedIn as one channel (lemlist, La Growth Machine again). Heyreach is the cloud-based approach with the strongest multi-account workflow.

What that means in practice: if you're an agency running LinkedIn campaigns for 5 clients, you have 5 LinkedIn accounts to manage, each with its own connection requests, message sequences, profile views, and reply handling. Most LinkedIn tools handle this by making you log into each account separately or create separate workspaces. Heyreach's UI is built around 'I'm operating across N accounts simultaneously' as the default state — unified inbox across accounts, campaign-level reporting that aggregates or splits by account, and the throttling logic respects each account's individual activity profile.

The throttling story is the moat. LinkedIn has spent the last 3+ years getting more aggressive about detecting automation, and tools that scale activity beyond LinkedIn's tolerance get accounts restricted or banned. Heyreach's pacing model is conservative — daily caps are lower than 'aggressive' competitors and the activity pattern matches what a real human would do. Boring? Yes. But also: the operator who tests aggressive throttling and gets an account banned has lost real money. Heyreach's positioning is 'we won't break your accounts,' and for agencies that's the only positioning that matters.

On affiliate disclosure: we earn 20% × 12 months from Heyreach conversions. We haven't yet submitted our application (planned for tomorrow as I write this — the LinkedIn category is broader than just cold-email-adjacent senders, so the Heyreach approval starts a separate category timeline). Until approval lands, /r/heyreach routes to heyreach.io without our affiliate parameter, the same way Apollo does. We've ranked Heyreach at 8.2 / 10 — the highest in the LinkedIn outreach category — on methodology, not affiliate status.

Who should pick Heyreach

  • Good fit:Agencies running LinkedIn outreach across 3+ client accounts. The native multi-tenant architecture eliminates the workspace-juggling other tools require.
  • Good fit:Teams that have been throttled, restricted, or banned by LinkedIn for over-aggressive automation and want pacing logic that respects LinkedIn's actual rate limits.
  • Good fit:Sales teams running multichannel sequences where LinkedIn is one channel — Heyreach's API and integration story are cleaner than the 'browser extension' competitors.
  • Good fit:Operators who care about a clean unified inbox view across multiple LinkedIn accounts.

Who shouldn't

  • Watch out:Solo prospectors running 1 LinkedIn account — $79/mo entry is steep when you're paying for multi-account capabilities you won't use.
  • Watch out:Teams using LinkedIn purely for connection-building, not outreach sequences — Sales Navigator's native features are enough.
  • Watch out:Agencies allergic to the 'cloud-based, your-account-runs-on-our-infrastructure' model — Expandi's browser-based approach feels safer to some operators.
